The BeGeistert Info Service email has now been sent out for 014, so we can provide some details over and above the rather sketchy first report on it provided here.

BeGeistert 014, "Dinner For One", will be held in Dusseldorf on the 2nd and 3rd of April, 2005, in its usual location of the Dusseldorf Youth Hostel. Due to the delays involved in organisation, rooms can still be booked despite the deadline having passed.

Presentations will be made by Marcus Overhagen and Stephan Assmus amongst others, who will be showing their DVB-T driver for BeOS, and the Haiku app_server and the latest versions of Wonderbrush, respectively. Representatives from other projects, and yellowTAB will also be present.

As the email explains, the name comes from an old English comedy sketch which is still hugely popular in continental Europe, particularly Germany, where it is shown many, many times on New Years Eve. Wheter this will be shown or not has not been said :-), but those of you without access to German televsion should probably try to see it to find out if the events match the sketch...

As always, the registration form, and the lift request/offer form are over at BeGeistert.org. Having existed for 7 years now, BeGeistert almost predates BeOS on x86, and is an important part of the European BeOS usage culture and the BeOS calander.
