Rudolf Cornelissen has updated his
3D Blog again, with news that an alpha release of his 3D accelerant for older nVidia cards is imminent. Whilst it is currently heavily limited, with limitations including a maximum of one OpenGL application open at one time, and requiring the card to use PIO mode, it represents a massive step forwards and probably the largest scale retro-fitting of a closed source operating system ever completed.
He also updated his April 12th benchmarks figure even further, with speeds from a much slower machine, showing the boost that 3D acceleration can bring.
