[email] [print]  Intuiware Gone?

Jun 05, 2005 15:09 UTC, by Kian Duffy, Senior Journalist.
From the ever-dwindling-numbers department...

Intuiware, the Italian software vendor who produced the commercial BeOS archive, Squeezer, which had a new release as recently as Autumn 2004; appears to have left the BeOS software market.

The Squeezer entry on BeBits has been removed (was app 374), and all pages on the Intuiware site redirect to a new homepage which states that they are 'Coming Soon' and will be offering, among other services, 'MacOS X Software'.

A number of other companies still offer commercial software for BeOS, however - Xentronix, Raycone and TuneTracker Systems being three BeOS-only software houses. However, losing any company is a blow to the user base in general.
