DarkWyrm reports (via his blog) his team has been hammering away at the app_server and making serious headway. Not only does the app_server sport nifty new code to solve clipping issues, but the BMenu classes have a ton of fixes for previous crashing issues, and Stephens Playground app has some cool tricks added.

DarkWyrm did a survey of the classes his team is responsible for: the App, Interface, and Support kits. Of the approximately 88(!) classes that need to be done, about half are completely done. Of the unfinished ones, almost all of them are at least halfway done. There's a lot of work to be done, but it's not extremely difficult work. If you want to help Haiku and don't want a huge time commitment, finishing a class this would be an excellent way to help.

Also of note is that Axel Dorfler has joined the team to help propel development.
