German BeOS software repository BeZip has been offline for some time at this stage with no indication of any reason or a possible return. The site, which notably hosted the downloads on-site, avoiding the "ever broken links" problem that affects BeBits, hasn't been responding to connection requests for nearly a month at this stage. The site, which was only available in German and more selective in what software was carried, was a useful resource for all BeOS users attempting to obtain software which had disappeared from BeBits or other sites.

Additionally, the DeBUG, the German BeOS Users Group also appears to have recently gone offline.

Update

Based on the large number of mails I've got about this, it appears that there are now two sucessor German BeOS User Groups, one at BeUser.de and another at debug.mittilgart.de.
