According to the most recent news on BeUnited, Xentronix has requested that the SampleStudio CVS source be removed from their Developer Portal due to copyright issues with the name "SampleStudio".

If you have downloaded the source via CVS, you can still use it in your personal projects, but you are not permitted to use the name SampleStudio within the code. Neither can the name "SampleStudio" be used in your compiled release either commerciallly or as open source.

I have sent Frans Van Nispen an email asking why there are copyright issues, hopefully we'll be able to answer this question soon.
