[email] [print]  Mozilla Tinderbox Server Ordered.

May 05, 2004 17:01 UTC, by Adam McNutt, Contributing Journalist.
From the bump-n-boot department...

I have ordered a new server for a Mozilla tinderbox, and it is on it's way. It should arrive here next Wednesday and be running either that day or the next. Just thought I'd let the community know, as we've been working on this since the orignal letter from the BeZilla crew was released. I hope this helps us get better builds faster!

For those interested, here are the specs:

IBM eServer x330
* Dual 1.13Ghz Pentium III Processors
* 1GB SDRAM (4x256MB)
* 36.7GB SCSI HardDrive (10,000RPM)
* CD-ROM Drive
* 3.5" Floppy Drive
* 10/100 Ethernet NIC Card

This should be quite a step up from what we had. I'll also be co-locating it at our datacenter, so that is also taken care of. Our only real concern is the 1GB RAM issue. if anything, I should be able to bump it down to 768 with no problems.

Please comment or post if you have any questions.
