[email] [print]  Koki Leaves JPBE.net

Jul 21, 2004 00:53 UTC, by Chris Simmons, Senior Journalist.
From the party-streamers department...

Koki wanted to let the various communities using BeOS know he is departing from JPBE.net, on good terms.

Here is his letter in full:

After more than one year since I started JPBE.net with the help of several dedicated people (to whom I will always be grateful), I have recently decided to step aside and allow the Japanese BeOS users run JPBE.net and, thus, freely shape their destiny with their own hands. This was a very unique experience for me, through which I had a lot of fun and met a lot of great friends, Japanese and otherwise.

I leave JPBE.net in good terms with everyone and with the good feeling that I made my small contribution to a grand cause. The members of the Japanese community can always find a friend and ally in myself. Nevertheless, I definitely feel that it is time for me to move on.

To all those who worked hard to make JPBE.net happen, my deep appreciation. I hope JPBE.net keeps striving to make the Japanese BeOS community flourish even more into the future. The party has just started!

You will all hear from me soon. I promise :)

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you personally, Koki, for your invaluable dedication to being both a liason and kindred "web guy" with whom I've had the pleasure of long BeShare chats with.

Thanks for all your hard work, and I most certainly look forward to your future endeavers.
