The All-Original! BeOSRadio Week: March 24th - 31st.

"The point of BeOSRADIO from the start was to demonstrate what could be done using this OS. It took the effort of programmers, musicians, and friends to make BeOSRADIO fly, and to keep it flying into its fifth year.

What could be better, then, than to use BeOSRADIO as a tool to recruit more people to the terrific Be Operating System?

So starting now, tell everyone you know to tune in, and we promise to spend BeOSRADIO Week giving people lots of good reasons to make BeOS, their OS."

-- Dane Scott,
BeOSRadio

Each year members of the BeOS Community pay special tribute to one of the pillars of the community by tuning into BeOSRadio for an entire week, and telling as many people as possible to do the same. For seven days we try to get as many listeners as we can to enjoy the extreme variety in music, as well as hear commentary and daily news from throughout the community, learn exciting tips about using the BeOS, and more.

This kind of event grows from the enthusiasm and energy of its participants, and the members of the BeOS Community are not shy when it comes to sharing their interest.

Dane Scott, founder and chief operator of BeOSRadio welcomes music submitted by its listeners, often created by the submitter or a close friend, and urges the more musically inclined to consider future submissions so as to live up to the "extreme variety" trademark.

Take note that there is a special artist salute during this week to jazz guitarist Jeari Czapla of Canada, who is a regular on BeOSRadio. Dane produced a half hour interview special with him that will run periodically throughout the week.

In April, BeOSRadio is doing a month-long salute to brand new artist, piano player Doug Smith, who somehow manages to combine the unlikely genre mix of relaxing ambient music and honkey tonk in the same compositions!

To help kick off this event we are giving away a free copy of the TunePrepper 2 music ripping and prepping software, to the lucky tenth person who emails us with the key phrase "delicious-ice-cream" in their message. This ensures you have seen this page at least once.

Lets help make BeOSRadio even more enjoyable by spreading the good word, and in the process help to advertise our great operating system, the BeOS.
