I don't usually post news that is totally unrelated to BeOS, but I came across this website, and I thought it was worthy to help spread the word.

What I'm talking about is the Peace For One Day campaign, a most serious campaign to halt violence, fighting, and needless death around the world, just for one day. The (now designated, as of 2002) official day for peace is September 21st, every year, and aims to allow all sides involved in conflict time to reflect on what they are doing.

The way I figure it, I have a reasonable audience that reads TBJ, and I'd just like to pass on this url to y'all. Tell your friends, neighbours, relatives, and pass it on. Discuss it. Most importantly, keep an open mind.
