Rudolf Cornelissen has recently gained valuable insight into the inner works of nVidia graphics cards, and 3D init routines, as noted on his developer blog.

It was an interesting read, if a lot befuddling to a commoner like me. :) In a nutshell his progress and insight means Rudolf is a few steps closer to perfecting his line of drivers for the nVidia graphics cards, bringing much needed true 3D graphics support to our lovely OS.
