Axel Dörfler has been
announced by, err, himself, as being
Haiku's first full-time employee.
Due to user
donations, Haiku, Inc. has enough money to pay Axel through to at least the end of November, as a full, 40-hour-a-week employee. He has also started maintaining a blog of his work, which we linked to his name at the top of the article.
Axel has coded for Haiku in his spare time for a number of years, as well a working on his own BeOS software projects for
Pinc Software.
Your donations to Haiku are being used well in bringing it closer to its first stable release.
