From the surrounded-by-flesh-eaters department...

The title may seem a little dramatic, but this really seems to be the week of the resurrection in the BeOS world, particularly as goes music production. The MusicWeaver saw its first public update for 4 years, and according to Studio33, the long-since forgotten to most ObjektSynth, un-updated since 2000, has been re-released for ZETA. One of the oldest apps for BeOS, at the age of 9 - BeOS itself is only 11 years available to the public - the software MIDI synthesiser was one of the earliest media applications for BeOS at the time that major media vendors such as Steinberg were committing to but not delivering for the platform.

Unfortunately, it now appears to solely support ZETA, but at least it is now available for purchase again, at its old price of $99.
