In what is unfortunately not an April Fool's joke,
Heise Online, the website of the publishers of iX and c't, two large German computing magazines, is claiming that a claim on behalf of
yellowTAB has been
filed for bankrupcy protection (link in German). While neither Heise nor us were able to contact anyone at yellowTAB, staff told Heise that the claim had not originated from within the company and may have been a malicious attempt to damage the firm.
Bernd Korz, the CEO of yellowTAB, was recently
talking to Il tuo Sistema and hinting towards the OS's sucess. And with the release of 1.2 imminent - reviews have surfaced on the internet and HaikuNews will be bringing you one shortly - the company have not been inactive in promoting ZETA to new users.
Even if the filing is real, many companies have sucessfully entered bankrupcy protection and recovered - notably NTL in Europe, who are a major cable television and internet provider in the United Kingdom.
