Jorge G. Mare (aka Koki in IRC) wrote up a fabulous
report about his experience at
LugRadio Live USA 2008. Along with Scott McCreary from
BeDrivers.com, they setup a booth to represent the
Haiku project.
Jorge and Scott demo'd Haiku running VLC, Firefox, and the ever-popular Live Queries feature of Haiku to numerous people, which elicited very favorable responses from the crowds. Jorge even got asked the dreaded "Why?" question, but we all know our reasons behind the answer, so I won't go into that just now. :)
All in all, I greatly enjoyed the article, it left me feeling as if I had attended in person, a nice overview I must say. I'm actually hoping to attend one or two events once I get some items sorted in my personal agenda; Koki has inspired me to pursue that in the future!
Be sure to drop a comment at the Haiku-OS site once you've finished reading, leave your thoughts and opinions on such a great article!
