[email] [print]  Dan Parks, Where Are You?

From the lost-and-found department...

Ok listen up! Remember a while back how OReilly was going to open source some of their books? One of the books in question that I'm sure everyone in our community would love to read is "Programming The Be Operating System", by Dan Parks Sydow.

Why am I bringing this up now, you may ask? Because for a while now, I've tried to contact Dan, I've noticed his website is up for sale, and his email address that he recommended to use no longer functions. (I get usual AOL error, no mailbox found.)

So now I'm stumped. I turn to you, the community at large, to take up the challenge of contacting Dan, and letting him know that The BeOSJournal would love to talk with him about his book, as well as discussing other BeOS related matters naturally.

So what do you say? Are you willing to be bloodhound for an hour, and see if you can find him? The lucky person who actually makes contact first, will be nominated as a "BeOS Bloodhound", and proudly displayed on TBJ for the rest of the year. Honest. ;) Ok, if they don't want to be displayed, we'll still know and talk about them in the community anyhow. ;)

Thanks for listening, and let's hope someone can succeed!
