I'll start with the good news. ;)

Rudolf has once again updated his development page and posted some good news about the GeForce FX5200 graphics card to boot! Go check it out.

The BeOSJournal has been working on a layout for the site, which will be incorporated into the forum once all changes are finalized. What we would like to ask of the community is if any graphic minded persons would be able to whip up a better looking logo for us, based on the new colors and style direction you see. The page is a work in progress, but we felt it was complete enough to show off where we're heading.

Has anyone seen this picture yet? We almost died laughing, it was so funny. ;) Would the real slim shady, err.. the author, please stand up? Thanx.

And now, for some reality. Two weeks ago, I posted a simple question to the communiy at large, and specifically to YellowTab, which resulted in a pretty lengthy forum discussion. Needless to say, I feel that after two weeks, I should report that The BeOSJournal has had no contact from any member of YellowTab, not even from Bernd Korz himself. No email replies to our email inquries, no returned phone calls, nothing.

To top this off, I found out through an anonymous tip that Bernd was personally discussing the situation on this forum. So why no update to our inquries, or even a simple email? It bewilders me. Can anyone who reads German well please do us all a favor and translate the material there, and send it to us? Thanks in advance.
