Wow, another great update (albeit, a little late, 'sok ;) from Niels Reedijk about the latest CVS changes to openBeOS.

DarkWyrm has certainly been busy as well lately, as of July 29th, there's a new app_server to try out.

I just received word from my good buddy ScottMC that there's a great new repository of information about BeOS drivers now being hosted on SourceForge. Go there, check it out, and pitch in if you like. It will do a body good. ;)

And finally, more exciting news from the other half of the dynamic duo known as the Wonder Brothers... Thomas Kurschel has emailed us about the driver fund ScottMC and I were arranging. Thomas has agreed to the idea, and would love to get his hands on a new Radeon graphics card. So, this is what we'll do...

The BeOSJournal has already obtained over $50 towards this end, and we turn to you again, the wonderful BeOS Community that stepped forward to help Rudolf for his graphics card. See the leetle PayPal link? Gooooood... You know what to do. ;)

Once we have enough funds collected, we will purchase a top of the line Radeon graphics card, and get it to Thomas ASAP, so he can get all those nice features working as they should. We'll let you know how things develop when we learn more, don't worry.

So for now, I express sincere thanks to all, and want you all to know that being a part of such a great community is truly a blessing.
