In what is a revolutionary (for yellowTab) fast sequence of news posting, a new app comes to us today, it's name... BeTunes.

BeTunes is, to quote from their site, "an audio player with it's UI based on iTunes" and promises to bring new features to BeOS audio players, such as:


- Tree display of all your artists and their albums
- Extended playlist support (generation based on attributes)
- Album image support
- Search support
- File Name <-> Attribute conversion, ID3 <-> Attribute conversion (like id3attr)
- Plugin support for input sources, output destinations (export to wav for example)
- Replicant
