The long running battle to bring nVidia goodness to BeOS desktops everywhere will soon see a public release in the form of a new nVidia Driver Version.

Rudolf Cornellisen has updated his site with news that his latest driver iteration seems to be running very smoothly indeed. He plans to make the first official public release on BeBits soon starting at version 0.07, which will include support for TNT overlay.

Rudolf also asks if anyone would be willing to send him a GeForce FX 5600 graphics card. As you might remember, The BeOSJournal, with the help of the fine BeOS Community, collected enough money to purchase a GeForce4 ti4200 graphics card, which was presented to him in early August, 2003.

Rudolf has done some wonderful work, and it's exciting to see one of the top of the line cards get more support in BeOS. Keep up the good work, Rudolf!
