Straight from our buddies from OpenBeOS comes a couple of updates.

First, Issue #33 of the OBOS Newsletter is now online, feature a MIDI article, a boot process article (whitepaper) and Michael Phipps' Christmas experience. Go read it.

Also, they let us know that the code for Thread Local Storage (or TLS for short) has been commited (not that kind of commited) to the CVS repository by Axel "Basement Hermit" Dorfler. This is an important piece of the kernel and an important tool for developers. It can be useful when porting apps not designed with multi-thread in mind and also used by the BeOS kernel itself.

Baby steps, remember? Bit by bit, it's moving forward. Good things (not just OpenBeOS) are coming our way.
