Please be advised that our forum is being upgraded today, from version 2.0.4 to version 2.0.6. This is to fix some security issues, and allow for the latest forum Mods to be applied, which require the latest version. (naturally)

The forum -should- just work, but we'll likely have to do some minor tweaking, so don't be alarmed if things start to break here and there. The upgrade process will be done over the next few hours, lasting no later than friday (oct 23, 2003), we hope. ;)

Alright... it appears that the forum upgrade was successful. Not only did we manage to upgrade to 2.0.6, but we also kept our custom templates to boot! (shweeet)

sigh. It appears we're run into a known issue with phpbb. One of the database tables that holds search words has become corrupted. The only way to fix this will be for Mike from CompleXero to do some database management directly as root. Until then, no posting is possible. I'm going to make the board READ ONLY for now until we fix the database.
