Well, here they are, straight from the horse's mouth, or should i say, Bruno Albuquerque's (BGA) computer. Here are the results:

Test 1 (copies 431 small files, about 1.8MB total
Total: 20.9 s (0.5s transactions, 20.4s syncs)
BFS: 23s (2.3s transactions, 20.9s syncs)

Test 2 (copies 2447 small files, about 38.5MB total)
Total: 3m 35.7s (3m 3.8s transactions, 31.8s sync)
BFS: 3m 31s (3m 15s transactions, 16s sync)

There you have it, OBFS is oficially now _faster_ than BFS, though, as Bruno says, this is a specific test, they still need to do other tests.
