From the objects-in-mirror department...

DarkWyrm is at it again... ;) He gives word that some progress has been made with the Appearance preference panel, after some minor prodding from Axel. Check out a preview of it in action or download the latest binary.

He warns that it is partly a proof-of-concept at this point, but from what I can see, it looks very promising.
