Some good news for BeBook fans. ;)

beunited.org explains it thusly:

"It with great pleasure that we accept a gracious donation of the Annotated BeBook by its creator Stephen van Egmond. Stephen has decided not to host the BeBook and believes that beunited.org is the perfect place for it. We could not agree more.

beunited.org will keep the Annotated BeBook up to date as part of our developer portal and maintain it with the new standards and API's (such as the new LocaleKit donated by yellowTab)."

In a related note, I recently created a local mirror of the BeBook, available at http://bebook.beosjournal.org. This version is not annotated, and will likely be out of sync with the beunited.org efforts, but I heard Stephen was no longer hosting it, so decided to help preserve it anyhow. ;)

Please use the beunited.org version of the BeBook when it becomes available.
