Not exactly news that you can see immediately, but if you're a member of the fast-growing Orkut website, you'll be able to see what what I mean. A few weeks ago I set up the "BeOS Community" community on Orkut, and invited a few friends to it. Well, without any real help from me other than a private message to some Orkut members, the BeOS Community section has grown from a population of 43 to now 100.

But that's not all. I know that there are hundreds of people from the long-standing BeOS Community worldwide that haven't been able to join Orkut for some reason or another, and who thus are not able to represent themselves in the Orkut system. Never fear, dear reader. ;)

I once again invite anyone who wishes to join Orkut to email me directly, and I will help you help us make the BeOS Community @ Orkut reach 1000 members in no time! Furthermore, if you are on Orkut now, and want to see our online community grow, please consider inviting some of your contacts on your friends list. Let's see if we can reach 1000 members before the end of March, ok?

One last thing. I just thought of this while writing this up... If anyone wants to help invite people whom are emailing me, and for some reason I am not able to invite them myself, could you please email me as well, and I will forward you their respective emails. It would really help me out, and propel the invitation process that much further.
