From the party-on-garth department...

Just got word from Jorge Salamero and his good pal, nitro, with an update to our previous story on the upcoming Operating Systems Exhibition taking place July 9th-11th, in Spain.

Here's the full scoop, agenda style:

Main Activities
  • Operating System Exhibition: an interesting tour showing several Operating Systems with one machine dedicated to whomever wants to test/demonstrate their OS of choice. (multiple machines available.)
  • Technological Fair: a place where companies will show their products and services.
  • Interesting Conferences: related to computer security, networking and open-source projects.
  • Practical Workshops: the most interesting is "Programming BeOS Applications", done by BeOS "Beveloper" Oliver Ruiz. There will be also programming and networking workshops.
  • Game Championships: win prizes playing games such as Quake III, Unreal Tournament, Netris...
  • Digital Contest: win prizes with your creative style in 4 categories related to multimedia and programming.

Other Activities
  • Night Shows: multimedia show (dj's, vj's), music concerts, presentations.

Facilities and Services
  • Parking, sleeping room, catering service, bar, lockers, toilets, showers, and more.

Oliver Ruiz will be bringing Zeta and a Zintro for demonstration purposes. (Turns out we were mis-informed...)

Please note that the event is limited to approximately 200 people, with attendance costing only € 20 euro per person.
