In what can only be described as a complete failure of better judgement, Technix has given me access to post news to TBJ. Wheeee!!!!

Officially, I've been recruited to attempt to bring live news-worthy events to our global audience from OpenBeOS's upcoming WalterCon. Unofficially, this is all part of my plot to aid in the axeld clone creation program. I'll be distracting the FBI, CIA, NSA and all those other secret organizations politicians don't want us to know about. This distraction will let the OpenBeOS project leaders perform their dark magic on the rest of the WalterCon attendees.

Amongst the chicken-bone waving and chanting, attendees can expect to have their minds and bodies overcome with the essense of axeld as they sleep. Rumor has it this incredibly intoxicating transformation compound will leave you with a German accent, the desire to code in conditions resembling a dusky basement, and a strange unfounded love for David Hasselhoff. If attending WalterCon and you expirence these symptoms, it means the procedure was a success. Congratulations. Expect to be kernel hacking in a few months. Warning: exposure to BayWatch may accelerate the transformation beyond tested parameters.

In reality, I'll be toting along my BeOS laptop with a wi-fi card. Hopefully I'll have time to go posting news, or possibly even some interviews with the other beloved devs. We'll see what technical nightmares can keep that from happening once we get there.
