From the monkey-fur department...

Kurtis Kopf writes that despite the lack of any visible progress on the Haiku OS website, things are moving well behind the scenes. I concur with his assessment, after wading through the daily deluge of discussion that the mailing list delivers in my gmail box. Not that I'm complaining of course.

I think it is fantastic how things have picked up this year, especially in the free flow of ideas department. A couple of hot threads as Kurtis points out are the: MMX/SSE help wanted, and gcc-2.95.3 threads, with the latet being covered here just recently.

Kurtis also points out the number of hot topics at their forum, which you can join for free, no cost, no payment down, only your time. Sign up now, enjoy the fun, and be a part of the great discussion.

Reminds me of a quote by Sir Winston Churchill (1874 - 1965):

Never hold discussions with the monkey when the organ grinder is in the room.
