Nothing stops this coding machine, let me tell you!
Sometime around November 1st, 2004,
Rudolf Cornelissen updated his famous
nVidia driver to version 0.30, and with it, added coldstart support for anyone using analog connected screens, and recognition of new cards using PCIe and AGP.
A little information on what coldstart support means to you; You can use an nVidia card in your system as a secondary card if you have multiple video cards already. Even though BeOS doesn't officially support this, Rudolf notes that it makes using multiple cards a little easier, if using Kevin Patterson's old
Video Consumer Node.
Good to see so much progress with this driver. It really helps that so many different variants are supported by this single driver. Kudos to Rudolf for his hard work.
