As expected, version 1.0, Release Candidate 2 of the Pixel32 graphics editor has been
released onto
BeBits by
Pavel Kanzelsberger, and its litany of changes are quite interesting.
I emailed Pavel and asked him about the changes, and what is to come for future releases.
Would you like to provide us with a few quick comments on this new release? We noticed you posted it today, and want to let our readers know what changes made their way into this version, and what your immediate future plans are with Pixel32.
Pixel should be much more stable again, I finished a lot of features, improved plugins, added live effects, layer styles, most of image operations are now 5x faster. I'm playing with a lot of source code, so it's hard to remember what I changed. It's still not perfect and there are probably atleast 3 new Release Candidates before releasing final version.
Anyway I'm still having few troubles with BeOS/Zeta. For example SDL is buggy when changing cursors. BeSane is not working correctly with Zeta, it worked with BeOS R5.
Hope this helps,
Pavel
