Oliver Tappe has
updated his GCC 2.95.3 port again. This version fixes issues when compiling libSDL.so and other shared libraries, as well as fixing a potential crash and other various fixes
As always, it supports BeOS R5, with or without BONE, Dano and Zeta; and provides a new libstdc++r4.so, and new standard C headers. If you are still using Be's compiler, it would be advised to update to this version, as it enables you to use optomisation more safely, as well as providing MMX and SSE support to the assembler.
Olivers port of GCC is the compiler of choice for the
Haiku Build Factory, and for BeOS ports of
VLC.
