News from Raycone Software, long-time maker of two very nice products for the BeOS platform, that there are some updates to its flagship products headed our way. New releases of Insite Designer and Insite Constructor are almost ready, after a little bit of needed finishing and testing is performed first. The new releases are scheduled to occur at the same time.

The changes to occur are planned in stages, with the first stage to include a thorough reconstruction of the codebase, some cosmetic improvements to the user interface, and various fixes for better compatiblity with BeOS and Zeta. Insite Constructor sports an improved code parser, and syntax highlighter, with some noticeable changes in the HTML Validator window.

In the second stage, InSite Constructor will be incorporating an integrated FTP client, line numbering, new character sets and encoding support, and more. Ales Nedomlel urges anyone who wants to send in a feature request to do so from the Registered users area of their website. Perhaps some of your feature requests may still make it to the list of features implemented in stage two.
