[email] [print]  A BeBit Of Everything...

Sep 05, 2003 05:51 UTC, by Chris Simmons, Senior Journalist.
From the updateilicious department...

Take a break for a few days, and the news piles up! ;)

First up, Sergei "fyysik" Dolgov has released another fine build of the Gecko based browser for BeOS over on BeBits. It used to be known as StripZilla, because it was JUST the browser, but because now the Mozilla Dev team has accepted his fine work with the JetGFX library, Sergei has decided to focus on building from the latest CVS tree.

He also let us know to pass on his request that he would LOVE feedback on the latest build, and that any and all emails about bugs for the BeOS build should be directed to him.

My good friend Daniel "Daat" Teixeira has launched a new website, IsComputerOn.com. It looks super! I'm glad he's continued working on things related to BeOS since he left us. As usual, he's quick on the ball too, as he posted about this next piece of news...

YellowTab has announced their partnership and involvement with a new interactive exhibition titled "what is art?" to be held in Mannheim, Germany from September 5th through the 7th. For full details about the event, please visit the official "what is art?" website.

Another new website was launched recently, this time titled Zeta News, and is run by the same folks from Xentronix.com. The site focuses on news specifically surrounding the Zeta operating system, and includes a growing forum.
