As reported by Kurtis on the Haiku Website, Haiku is now able to solicit for and accept donations. A donation page has been created as well.

This is an important milestone for the non-coding side of the project, as it now means that cash can be raised for code bounties, rewards and other general expenses of the project. Haiku now joins the ranks of other non-profit operating system foundations, such as NetBSD.

Note that it appears only US residents can donate at the moment. Hopefully this will be fixed soon, as major amounts of the BeOS community are in Europe, Japan and South America.
