Rudolf Readies Alpha2 Release

Over at his blog, Rudolf Cornelissen readies alpha2 release of his nVidia driver, and explains some possible speed bottlenecks that have potential for improvement.
 
I know we've done countless mentions of Rudolf and his excellent work, but he is someone whom I keep track of regularly, and whom I also appreciate for his hard work. It excites me what he is doing, for if one developer can do so much with practically no documentation or specifications from the main hardware vendor, it boggles my mind what Haiku will achieve in its future once it gains true hardware support in terms of real corporate backing from the big boys.
