BePodder: Supporting Haiku Mar 06, 2006 17:40 UTC, by Kian Duffy, Senior Journalist From the commercial-software-abounds department... BePodder the oddly-named (as it only runs on ZETA) RSS, Podcast and Videocast aggregator and handler for ZETA has announced that 20% of all shareware sales are going to be donated to Haiku. While Haiku isn't going to be able to run it, yet - its not ZETA compatible - donations may assist in that matter. The application, which has a large feature set, hasn't had its price disclosed yet, other than a stated feature of the application being "Low price", and is by far the most fully-featured RSS reader for ZETA, not counting the slight matter of Podcast support, etc... It uses BFS attributes and similar BeOS-specific features which make it significantly more native than the next best thing RSS wise - Firefox. A huge screenshots directory, which isn't loading here for some reason, shows off its array of features.
