Firefox 2.0 Update and Bug Hunt Day! Sep 18, 2006 23:10 UTC, by Chris Simmons, Senior Journalist From the enraged-bugs-hunt-you department... In recent news, the BeZilla Project ponders having a Bug Hunt Day, while also releasing the latest Firefox 2.0 on BeBits. nielx would like to get as many developers together on a single day, using BeShare or similar online chat system, and try to hash out the most outstanding bug issues that affect the browser. It's a great idea, worthy of at least discussing on BeShare or IRC, and would go a long way to finally identifying the greatest showstoppers currently in the bleeding edge of Firefox 2.0 for BeOS/Haiku, not to mention it would bring together developers who otherwise might be out of touch due to timezone differences. Head on over, read his blog and drop him a comment or two. Next, download the latest Firefox 2.0 and give it a whirl. Here's what I ask of you when you are trying it; compile a list of at least 10 obvious bugs, no matter how trivial or small they may seem. Next, put that list away for an entire day. Don't look at it! Then take it, and eliminate all but three of the items and finally, submit the list and your comments to nielx.
