Haiku Networking Update Oct 31, 2006 15:21 UTC, by Kian Duffy, Senior Journalist From the blazin\'-packets department... Axel has posted a news item to the Haiku site detailing the current status of the networking stack. The networking stack, which was started from scratch this year to replace the older, not particularly reliable, stable or scalable solution now has working UDP and IPv4, and TCP works for sending but as-yet not receiving data. With last weeks news that Haiku now has wireless drivers, yet another class of adapter is now supported, with a driver for the Pegasus USB->Ethernet adapter checked in by Jerome Duval. This supports a large range of USB ethernet adapters, with Jerome performing the checkin over an ADMTek 8511 which it supports.
