PostMagic Development Stopped. Jul 10, 2003 12:20 UTC, by Daniel, Senior Journalist From the real life accidents department... I think i have browser cache problems... visiting sites daily and only seeing changes a couple of days later... anyway. It's sad, very sad... PostMagic's Nathan has stopped any and all development of his application. After a long hiatus in site's udpates, he now comes to tell us that development has stopped and what he has, will be turned over to beunited. Why this you ask? I'll let Nathan himself explain: "However, after several months of not being able to work on this project, and having just recently lost the current developement source tree due to a computer accident, I am left with only one option: turn the project over to someone else to lead. I have waited this long in hope that I would be able to find time to continue developing this application since it has been one of my most fun and exciting endevours. However, life has a way of weeding things out (like the loss of the source code), and when time becomes scarce, it is hard to find more of it. After much thought, I have decided what to do." A real shame, PostMagic (new name would be FilmPost-16 & FilmPost-35 due to a future split in development) was shaping up to be a very good and useful application for BeOS. Let's see if someone picks it up... Nathan (a very nice guy I might add) ends up by saying: "This is an unfortunate event both for me and the community. However, I will still be watching the progress on other BeOS projects and will continue to promote the ideals of this operating system. I wish the best of luck to all the other developers in the community." The best of luck for any future projects Nathan.
