New BeOS Zine. May 12, 2003 16:54 UTC, by Daniel, Senior Journalist From the fanzine department... I received a mail from Matthias Breiter a couple of days ago, letting me know of something he's doing. It's a new BeOS fanzine, called Technoids, which you can access through this URL or through this new one which was just setup by the team's new member, Florian. The site (and zine) main language is German though it's also available the english version (to which the first link points to). And who is Matthias you ask? Well, he's 23 years old and lives in Augsburg and he's been using BeOS since... May 8th 2003. Yes, he's quite the "newbie" but he immmediately fell in love with BeOS (can you really blame him?) and is showing great enthusiasm, the fanzine creation prooves it quite well. He'll price Technoids at €5 and for now, he's asking for writers to contribute with articles, reviews, rants, etc. But mind you, €5 is for the printed version, which you can order for any issue. There will be a pdf version, free and downloadable. More information on what is, what he wants it to be and what it will be can be found here. For now, he's asking everyone to vote and help him decide if Technoids should be just in German, in English or bilingual. Click here and help him decide. So as the site moves onward and there are more news about it, we'll keep you informed. Stay tuned!
