YellowTab Asks For User Input. Apr 06, 2003 13:00 UTC, by Daniel, Senior Journalist From the write in department... YellowTab has put out a request for everyone out there, to make yourselves heard. It's about an old problem, which affected Be, Inc back in the days. The old "chicken and egg" problem... no users, no market, no drivers, no drivers, no market, no users... so if the hardware companies don't write the drivers, who will? And that's just what YellowTab is proposing to do. Of course it's impossible to do it for every since piece of hardware on Earth, so they are asking for your help. To read their request in it's totality, point your browsers this way. There has been already a very good contribution, with many replies in the forum, asking for this or that piece of hardware supported, or more general requests, like USB 2.0 or Bluetooth and WLAN supported. The ones i mentioned are important, but there's many more out there, so to join the thread and shout out to them, click here and start posting. Don't forget that, posting there doesn't mean you'll get your wish granted. Later on (April 12th) a poll will start, and that one will decide what will get supported at first. Go participate!
