Some good news for you audio types out there. ;) Wired News has an article about FinalScratch.

Some of you may remember that it was supposed to use BeOS as its underlying OS. Mark-Jan Bastian, lead developer, emailed BeGroovy.com about it and confirmed that yes indeed it does use the BeOS.
 
What does this mean to you, you might ask? It means that not everyone has given up hope on our beloved OS. Stay tuned. We will keep you updated as we learn more in the days ahead. Thanks to BeGroovy for the quick heads-up.
