Xentronix, makers of the graphic studio Refraction, have news of the upcoming Beta 7 version of the software. Among numerous bugfixes and enhancements in particular is the continued offering of their "Early Bird License" to purchase Refraction for only 39.95 euros. Here's a snippet of the changes to the upcoming Beta 7: "- Toolbar freezes with Focus Follows Mouse are fixed and the look and feel is improved. - Double items on the expanded menus are removed, expanded tools have tool tips too and holding left- mouse will now also show the expanded palette. - Printing now works. - Problems with resize and crop, as well as crop to selection, are fixed. - Mouse Panning is added on the middle mouse button. This also solves the problem people experience on Zeta, with the Scroll-Lock button on. - Rearranging layers is fixed and now has physical indication of where the layer goes. - A live preview is added to a lot of the filters. - Color sliders now accept color-drops. - File drops are expanded and made more intelligent." It's not very expensive to take advantage of their early bird special, and try out what is shaping up to be a killer graphics suite for BeOS. Purchase it today, send in your suggestions, and it will get even better.
