DarkWyrm Flings Some Code. Jan 28, 2004 21:23 UTC, by Chris Simmons, Senior Journalist From the hack-meister-D department... Our man DarkWyrm (better known as Mr. app_server) has been busy for the past few weeks, as reported on his BeOS Page. Here's a little taste: "Most of the time if I don't post in more than a couple weeks, it's because I've been really busy and, thus, unable to do so. This one is no different except that it has not been Real Life (TM) which has been the problem. Instead, it's been a result of me flinging a lot of code since last time. To show how impatient I am (not that I'm saying that it's a good thing), it wasn't more than a couple days after my last post that he checked in his work. The server now properly tracks the locations of any windows to be displayed." It sounds like he's making some real headway. Hopefully later this year, The BeOSJournal can review a prototype of the app_server and let you know the results. Till then, keep reading DarkWyrm's BeOS Page.
