Roland K. from www.emu-world.net informed the folks at BeEmulated that a new version of NeoCD/SDL has been released, bringing it to version 0.3.0. Some of the notable improvements are: C based 68000 Emulation core Uses SDL for sound (Thanks to Mathieu Peponas) Much Improved sound emulation Keyboard controls for player 2 follow mame default BeOS cd autodetection Many source cleanups/speedups And just what is NeoCD/SDL, I hear you asking? It is the SDL (Simple DirectMedia Layer) version of the NEO/GEO game emulator, ported to the BeOS. NeoCD/SDL allows you to play all those great games made for the NEO or GEO arcade systems, those many years ago. ;) Now you can play those great side-scroller fighter games all day long, and be absolutely non-productive! :)
