As was reported over at ICO, the upcoming AtomoCAD programme, which was initially going to be for Zeta only will now be made available for BeOS R5 as well.
 
CAD is one area where BeOS has never had any serious programmes, and a quick look at the features list for AtomoCAD shows that it should be able to hold its own as an entry-level CAD programme with no problems. While it will probably be more along the lines of TurboCAD than AutoCAD, it will be able to import AutoCAD's DXF files, which are now close to an industry standard in CAD.
